Hot stone therapy is a specialist massage that incorporates the heat of the stones in the massage.
Service Description
A hot stone massage uses traditional Swedish massage technique to prepare your muscles. During the massage the warm stones will be place on key acupressure points on your body. The stones warm and relax your muscles, allowing deeper pressure to be applied during your massage. Hot Stone massage encourages your body to detox and heal through increasing your lymphatic flow and encouraging your body to remove waste products. Other benefits can be relaxing tense muscles, aiding pain relief, promoting sleep, improving circulation.
Cancellation Policy
Booking and Cancellation Policy: 1. Booking Appointments: Appointments can be booked online, via phone, or in person. 2. Cancellation Policy: We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This can be done via email, info@saltandstone.co.nz or via phone, 0224374113. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked treatment cost. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booked service. 3. Sickness or Unforeseen Last-Minute Cancellations: We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel at the last minute due to sickness or unforeseen events, your payment will be credited to your account in our system. This credit will be available for you to apply to your next appointment or course registration within 3 months. If you do not rebook within this period, the credit will expire. 4. Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, your treatment may be shortened to ensure the next client is not delayed. Full service charges will still apply. 5. Health and Safety: Please inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or concerns prior to your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we feel it is unsafe for you. 6. Changes to Policy: We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time.
